Cooking with Orhan

Orhan/Harry Potter has many talents. One night here he obtained a stringed instrument and spent the night playing and singing traditional Turkish music. Not sure what the instrument was called.  I don't communicate the best with Orhan. I know how to say good morning and thank you to him. I think he can say more but he strikes me as a man of few words so he doesn't really bother to speak to us too much.  But he did volunteer to cook a traditional Turkish meal for us if he had helpers
I became one of his Turkish sous chefs for the evening.   Despite the language barrier it is amazing how much can be communicated through grunts,  waving hands and dismissively turning on your heel. We had a few tense moments in the kitchen with Orhan when we were failing to meet his standards.
But in the end we enjoyed a traditional homecooked Turkish supper.  Orhan is triple threat.  He can sing, cook and drive a bus.
