Turkey has a native cat named after the region it is from, it's called the Van cat (from Van). They are endangered so the Van university has set up a cat house on their campus to help increase their population. This was all explained to us before we went inside the cat house, yet we still had two people freak out. One was hysterical that the university was experimenting on cats and she is a cat lover and she had a melt down the right of me. It was messy . It took some time to calm her down and convince her they were breeding the endangered cats not experimenting on them . The other lady was terrified of cats and somehow missed out that the cat house might contain cats. She was also to my right when she lost her composure.
Anyway, these cats live better than anyone reading this blog. The entire house pictured here is just for them. They are separated by male and female. They have dining rooms, outdoor gardens, a lounge area and bedrooms.
Isn't the world fascinating :)
