The Farm visit

A few days ago we stayed at a Turkish farm overnight. The farm belonged to Mustafo and his cousin Azis.  I can not pronounce their wives names and speaking Turkish has proven not to be my strong point.
Farming is different in turkey than at home.  For one thing Farmers all live in villages and then drive to their fields in the morning on their tractors.  Nobody has a house on their farm property here.  So you have entire villages of farmers with tractors parked in their garages rather than cars. They feel strongly about village life and think it odd that Canadian farmers live so isolated.
Cows are milked at the house in the morning and then let loose for the day.  They kind of wander  the village streets for a bit and then head out to pasture for the day. Everyone seems to have orchards too.
Mustafa and his wife were unbelievably hospitable,  which most definitely is the norm here . I am starting to think Turkish people are in the running for nicest people on the planet. Most generous anyway :)
That's about all I learned about farming.  It took a while as Mustafa does not speak English and sometimes I struggle with it too.
